Jewelry stores have expensive ultrasonics and high pressure steam machines, but there are several ways you can keep your jewelery looking beautiful.
Avoid wearing nice jewelry when working out, gardening, cleaning, or performing any type of rough work.
White gold is rhodium plated chemicals such as amonia, chloring, and cleaning products will wear this down quicker than normal and turn your jewelry a buttery yellow color.
Prongs can catch and snag, check your items regularly to see if anything has come loose. Take a tweezer and touch the diamond to see if it has any movement. Any local jewelery should easily be able to tighten this for you.

Cleaning solution;
1/8 tsp salt
2 cups boiling hot water
1/2 tsp liquid dish soap (make sure it does not contain any harsh chemicals)
